Auto Glass

Tsawwassen Collision is accredited in the ICBC Glass Express Repair program and also the more rigorous ARA Certified Glass Service.

When your windshield, rear or side glass is damaged or broken, you can bring it straight to us without a need for a call to ICBC. The claim is processed electronically at your first visit to our facility.

We also provide full service to all other insurance companies but with these you do need to call the company claim line for a claim number before we start the work.

Windshield Chip Repair – A Clear Choice

When it comes to windshield chip repairs, ICBC has you covered, and there’s no deductible to worry about. Just like with windshield replacement, there’s no requirement to contact ICBC beforehand. Simply drive into our facility, and our experts will assess the damage. In most cases, if the chip is not directly in the driver’s line of sight, doesn’t exceed about an inch in size, and is more than three inches from the glass’s edge, we can perform a successful repair, often while you wait on that first visit.

Private insurance companies have varying coverage for chip repair. A call to their claim line will provide the information on how they cover windshield chips on your policy.

If there is no insurance coverage a $75 chip repair is much less than the cost of a new windshield.

Our chip repair won’t magically erase the chip, but it will vastly improve its visibility and, more importantly, prevent it from expanding into a full-blown crack, sparing you the need for a complete windshield replacement.

Related Body or Paint Damage

Our glass facility operates as part of our collision facility and both departments are accredited by ICBC. We are able to provide glass, auto body or paint repairs as a one stop service.
