Specialty Repair

Everything was simpler twenty or thirty years ago, including collision and autobody repair. At that time many repair shops operated as general repair facilities and would offer a full range of services from minor collision repairs to complete repaints and restorations. As the different areas of repair became more specialized and differentiated most shops became more focused in the work that they would take on. On the day-to-day operations side Tsawwassen Collision has for the most part followed this trend of specialization and almost all the work that is done here is collision work on cars less than 15 years old.

Peter Sziklai, the owner of the shop, does have a solid background in older vehicle repair and restoration work including turnkey projects. The shop takes on a carefully scheduled stream of three to six project vehicles each year.

With the experience gained over the last 20 years Peter is able to give a vehicle owner a good idea of what is needed before a project is started. If in the course of this no-cost discussion an area of work that could be done by Tsawwassen Collision is identified this can be planned and scheduled.
