Collision Repair Services

Tsawwassen Collision Ltd. is accredited by ICBC as a c.a.r. Shop Valet facility. This is the highest level of accreditation ICBC gives and it allows many claims to be handled directly at our shop with only one call to ICBC, with no need to visit a claim centre.

There are several other insurance companies operating in BC and we have effective working relationships with these companies as well. With most of these companies a single phone call is all that is needed before bringing the damaged vehicle to Tsawwassen Collision.

More and more frequently we are seeing repairs being paid for by the owner without insurance companies involvement. There are several factors to consider in the decision to pay for the work yourself or to process an insurance claim. The Owner Paid Repairs page will explain these factors.

Vehicles are changing rapidly, with many new materials and technologies in use. At Tsawwassen Collision the Car–O-Liner BenchRack and Car-O-Tronics Vision Measuring are the core equipment pieces that allow accurate repair of late model vehicles. In May of 2007 Tsawwassen Collision became one of the first shops in BC to make the change to waterborne paint technology. Sikkens Autowave is a proven product, with over 12 years of European development and use. As part of the continuing program to reduce greenhouse gas emissions Canadian legislation will mandate the use of this technology by 2009.

Tsawwassen Collision maintains a fleet of 9 service loaner vehicles, and in many cases a service car can be supplied during the repair process.
